I never could quite understand (even though I have read a lot about the development and deployment of nukes) this quote: "Perhaps in time, the so-called Dark Ages will be thought of as including our own." Georg Christoph Lichtenberg
I'm very late in the game, but I am appalled (well, at my keyboard) to consider this devastation of civilization is the result of planning and that the planning is apparently acceptable to the important people who rule us. And their stunning ability to retail what they do under the banners of deceit (Balkinization, "We Don't Violate International Law--"We have simply not reached the result or interpretation that [our] critics prefer"
Marty Lederman Saturday, June 09, 2007.
That "responsible" people can speak with such disdain for truth, and that there is not sufficient outrage to cordon them off and impeach them, among their peers in federal government and among the people who despise this global mendacity--what are we afraid of, and what do we hope for?
