		<description>Curious about something that I don't think has ever been addressed: does SERE work?  That is, what sort of training could possibly save you from breaking down under this kind of torture.

I ask this because:

1) One of the BushCo justifications for not revealing the methods of interrogation incourt records and legislation, etc., is that it would give enemies a chance to prepare, and

2) If SERE cannot possibly achieve its stated goal, then it becomes clear that its purpose is otherwise than stated.

Is there anything abouut this in the literature?
