I've serving in the u.s.military for more than 18 1/2 years, it makes perfect sense to me. Don't you realize how dangerous these men are that are being detained in Gitmo? They aren't being detained because they ripped-off a gas station. These men would like to see you DEAD.......And they would do anything to kill an American. These soldiers at Gitmo are performing a very difficult mission, one slip-up and they could be killed. Maybe we should treat them (detainees) as if they have only committed a misdemeanor crime? Give the Joes a break, they're doing their friggin' job. And hoping to get home to their loved-ones at the end of their tour. Yeah, we in the military make those kind of sacrifices, so that politicians, newsmen and evry dirtbag can criticize our government. Give the Joe a break, he's at Gitmo protecting you.
