The answer to this question to me is pretty simple. Without writers, movies would be completely nonexistant. A vague swirl of memories. A rembrance of some made up fantasy. A world without movies, without writers of scripts, would be a drastically different one. We would be left to our own devices as human beings desiring entertainment. Perhaps more people would learn to play an instrument and the world would be filled with beautiful music. Perhaps everybody would forget how to play their instruments and the world would be one giant cacophany. I am unsure of that, but the world would surely be changed somehow.
