Seems to me Obama is “signaling” that he plans to do absolutely nothing. He said that impeachment is reserved for exceptional circumstances. Since he opposes impeachment, then clearly he is signaling that these are not exceptional circumstances.

He wants to make a distinction between dumb policies and criminality. Criminality would be exceptional; dumb policies are the order of the day. He is indicating exactly how he intends to excuse the Bush administration.

Nothing here that Hillary couldn’t say or really, even McCain.

I know we need to be optimistic in these dark days, but this is really grasping at the slimmest of straws IMHO.
