Kirk Family: The Earnest Soldier

The Kirk Family is sending their song The Earnest Soldier, as a Memorial Day protest. Support Our Troops! Bring Them Home!
Our family wrote this song just before the Iraq war began. We chose to protest because we did not trust our country’s leadership. We did not believe in the war. This song was our first attempt to honor the soldiers who die in our name by opposing the people who sent them to fight.
