I have tried for several years to persuade the APA to file ethical charges against three of the psychologists who are widely mentioned in first-person accounts as designing and supervising the Guantanamo interrogations.  The APA has rebuffed my efforts three times, saying I did not provide enough evidence and also that they cannot institute charges unless it is known that the individual is a member of APA.  I know that others have tried to institute charges also, but APA will not release their names--"confidentiality concerns."</description>
